Dr. McNeil is president, founder, and principal investigator of Optimed Research. He has over 20 years of research experience. Certified as a clinical investigator since June 2005, Dr. McNeil has conducted research studies in the following areas: pneumonia, sinusitis, bronchitis, COVID, allergic rhinitis, rheumatoid arthritis, hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, osteoarthritis pain, hereditary angioedema, diabetes, and asthma. Of special interest to Dr. McNeil are patients who have immune deficiencies or angioedema. He has traveled across the country to speak about angioedema and meet patients with all types of the condition.
Dr. McNeil is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at The Ohio State University and trains future allergists for the OSU ENT residency program. In addition to being on the medical teaching staff at Mt. Carmel, Doctor’s and Riverside Methodist hospitals, Dr. McNeil serves on the consulting staff at Grant Hospital in Columbus and Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.
As a member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. McNeil is board-certified in allergy, immunology and internal medicine. He has published numerous articles related to asthma, allergy and immunology.
